NEW! Nature Photo Walks

Connect with nature through photography.

My new photo walks are a way for me to share my passion for being in nature and photographing plants, flowers and trees.

They are inspired by my own photo missions- such as the time I went to find the Gingko Tree in Hastings' Alexandra Park when starting Gingko Photography and also by previous experience running gardening workshops and days for groups.

I find that the practice of bringing a camera into nature encourages me to look more closely at it and find awe inspiring moments such as a flower breaking open, or a bee going about it's business. It also promotes a stronger connection to the seasons and elements and promotes a sense of calm and wonder.

My photo walks are 2 hours long and include a tea or coffee at the beginning. The emphasis is on looking at the nature around us through photography and also the collecting of fallen leaves and pinecones that are used to make a piece of artwork at the end of the walk.

Currently held at Alexandra Park in Hastings and bookable via Air BnB Experiences, I can also run bespoke photo walks and nature workshops in a choice of location for groups and individuals.

Maybe you would like to organise a photo walk to improve your own plant and nature photography, as a calming hen activity, school activity, family event or team-building exercise, if so please do not hesitate to contact me.
